Abstract |
Metal-organic frameworks (Mofs) an emerging class of hybride porous materials built from metal ions or clusters bridged by organic linkers-have attracted increasing attention in recent year. Mofs are used in many applications including gas storage ,catalysis ,removal of harmful and toxic chemicals ,sensing ,metal corrosion inhibitor and biomedical application. Cancer is a threat of human beings that causes millions deaths annually. Direct traditional treatment of cancer with therapeutic drugs to patient is no longer applicable due to undesirable side effect. Thus, various efforts have been made toward the development of drug vehicles for controllable drug release that achieve without side effect on normal organs and enhanced therapeutic efficacy. One of the most important drug carriers is metal organic framework .the superior properties of mofs , such as well-defined pore aperture, tailor able composition and structure , tunable size , versatile functionality , high agent loading , and improved biocompatibility ,make them promising candidates as drug delivery hosts. Furthermore, scientists have made remarkable achievements in the field of Nano medical application of mofs , owing to their facile synthesis on the nanoscale and alternative functionalization via inclusion and surface chemistry. MOFs can be manufactured in several ways, such as Hydrothermal synthesis, Microwave and Ultrasonic synthesis ,Mechanochemical synthesis, Microemulsion synthesis and Electrochemical synthesis. |
